Why an Arduino?

The gears look weak, you might have to slot and key the gear on the motor shaft. I'm not sure if that is the proper term. I had problems with a gear slipping on my loader.

Dude really awesome build, keep the pictures and text coming if you have the time to post them up.

How many hydraulic valves/functions are you thinking of having?
