There is a ton of stuff on cults3d. Some great some downright crappy. I am sticking to original design made from steel on this. Used them to get a super duty body I rescales to 1:14 and printed it out. Turned out well, slightly warped.
While we are on the subject I changed direction a little on the feeder. Swapping feeder belt to chain drive with crossbars. Saw a glimpse of this on goldrush and prefer it to avoid feeder belt slipping under a full hopper. I expect rubber, gravel or general dirt to be used. Found some really small chain .1475" pitch and will power it with a fusion mini16 with a gearhead. Searching for cheaper chain instead of $90/ft, but everything else is bigger. Easy replacements parts always appeals to me so I'll probably just go for it. No tensioner, no alignment adjuster, very simple.
Also got a scaleart pump to try out. Pretty small. Probably low flow. Looks like hardened steel construction so it should be pretty nice. 16 bar ~230 psi. Leaving the stock brushed motor on this since it'll rarely run. And already fits.
half of a Leimbach for scale
