Find J12 on the MFU, should be green and black cable. cut,strip, join and either tape securely or use heatshrink and have full power all the time.
Our club has had a globeliner pull 27 trailers in this configuration without a problem.

x2 exactly what i did! works great just no 5th wheel sound when you hook up . but you get the real sound anywaise
