mcl fabrication is on a distinguished road
Default My new dump trailer build

First I would like to thank everyone for posting pics of there builds, which gave me great insight and confidence to do this build. I would like to thank RCP57, bigford, northern farmer, Mario and countless others who answered my questions and was free to give away there knowledge to new comers as myself.
Now the want for a new dump body for my trailer came to me after mark came by to take a spin around my construction zone lay out in my backyard.
He brought with him a few trucks from his fleet for show and tell and to get some dirt on them. Doing so he unveiled to me the dump trailer that Reg made for him. I was amazed by how real it looked, its just as a trailer on the road. I looked at my dump trailer and said to myself I never seen a one like that on the road. Slightly bummed but still happy about my first dump trailer build, it works and I never had any trouble with it. But sitting next to Reg's trailer I knew I needed to step it up a notch. So I gathered my thoughts came up with a plan and then started to cut, glue, rivet and braze. There are no blue print or printed plans all ideas came from this forum, from a multitude of members.
This build is from what you all have posted pics of jumbled into one. Please keep in mind that I am a poor man and can not afford certain machines and material. This dump trailer was made with what I have in my possession and abilities. Here is what I did.
