funny story...
I purchased a cab from Tamiya Cowboy almost 2 years ago. it came with marker lights, air cleaners , horns etc. I had plans for the body but no plans for the other parts so I bagged them up and they've been in storage until I put them on the dump truck recently.
Well, when I was installing the horns something looked different about them
I noticed they had covers on them and thought must be plastic cover of some sort
As I tried to pop one off is when I realized they are thumb tacks! They fit and look perfect. What a great idea Paul!
Another part of the hobby I love. it makes you look at everyday things in a whole new way, seeing if it will work for something on the rigs
So for those who don't know, simple metal thumb tacks for air horn covers.
