Aluminum polishing ?

I would like to know if anyone polishes their machined aluminum in a vibrating tumbler?

I have experience with tumbling and polishing rocks but haven't had to polish aluminum until now. I understand it's a different beast and would like to have some advice for getting a shinier luster to a mirror finish.

Some media tips and formulas for the finish I would like to achieve will be very much appreciated. I'm currently using a Lot-O 5lb vibe.
