I started building a drop deck flatbed trailer in aluminium for my King (future Mack...). Here the first part : the gooseneck. ![]() ![]() Next stage : the frame ! |

Hello ! A few work this week-end.
I made realize at work one foot of gooseneck in flat aluminum, 6mm thickness. Frames of gooseneck are made with L aluminium, recut, and will be bolted on the foot. ![]() ![]() I have to finish the other side and some details to obtain a complete gooseneck for my dropdeck flatbed... Some work on the gooseneck : king pin, angle on coupling plate,... ![]() Cutting of the main frames and glueing together : Test before screwing : ![]() ![]() What a lenght !!! ![]() ![]()

I have finished the first axle : in fact, this is a Tamiya axle inside... Shocks absorbers will be mounted later. ![]() ![]() With wheels... : ![]() Wheels on the floor : ![]() Still the second axle to be fabricated... ![]() ![]() ![]()
