First post here in ages(years), been working on this for a little while now. Rear tyres are custom made by me front tyres are currently off a tmaxx but I have made some that resemble nokian trs, im having trouble getting rid of the air bubbles in the top of the mould even when degassing, not sure if I can cast one half then wait and cast the other then join them together as that would stop the issue? Tilting slew is a 3dprinted part that goes inside the actual metal slew gear and fixes to the bolt holes at the bottom. Front bogies are currently driven by gearmotors but im working on a gear driven bogie so will see how that pans out, anyway heres some pics.

Wow this is something different, great work so far. And you have cast the tires too
Are the molds 3d printed ?Any plans of how you are going to make the harvester head ?

Really like the geartrain - nice work. 3D printing has really added to modelling - from making actual parts to making molds. Awesome stuff!

Really impressive rig, it'll be fun watching this come together.
You could add a pressure pot to the casting process to help get the bubbles to rise, or if it's an open top mold you can pop the bubbles with a torch lightly above the surface.
