Fuel Tank Mounting

I bought a set of fuel tanks and J mounts from True Scale. I am wondering everyone's opinion on mounting the J mounts and mounting the tanks to the mounts. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Buddy

I drilled and tapped 2 holes in j hook to frame and then drilled and tapped tank to bottom of j. Maybe there is a better way but that was my route

I did the same thing

I love Russ's tanks but I used the aluminum stock mounts for mine.. on three different trucks
