Sanding

hi I managed to spray my Merc today with Tamiya primer but somehow there are a couple of places where a piece of fluff went on the wet paint it's not bad but it may show a mark when I top coat and lacquer so I thought a very light sanding then touch up with primer but I don't know which grade to get? ie 2500 what should I get and use please many thanks
