So what voltage are you planning to run Elliot? 3s, 4s lipo or 10cell NiMH? The final axle speed seems slow on my adt too, but with a big tire afix to it, it moves pretty quick.

You're moving right along with the build... I should build this way too, before painting parts to find the trouble spots, but I have this resolute about doing things twice ...and all too often it happens anyway.
