Transmission options

I'm trying to get an idea of what you guys would recommend for a transmission for my Tonka conversion. I have a stock Tamiya motor and 3-speed transmission, but I won't have enough room inside the cab to use them.

I'm looking for something I can use a 540 motor with, that is shorter in length, height, and isn't too expensive.I haven't had much luck with the vendors sites, when it comes to price.
