1:1 stretch truck question
Hi all
I was wondering what is the purpose of having a stretched frame on your US rigs is compared to a standard/short frame rig like we have here in Australia ?   Cheers Cossett

The ride is so much smoother when you have the long wheelbase...But mostly...It looks Awesome!!!..

Yep they look way cooler and they do ride much smoother but do take much more room to turn.. Ahh the price you pay to look LARGE.

I think I remember my dad saying something about using stretched tractors on trucks hauling flamables - safety thing - they also had powered fifth wheel disconnects - but I think those were outlawed - anybody confirm this????
