But can someone tell me where I can buy crushed rubber, probably online seemings I live in Australia.

i would check with your tire dealers to see where they send junk tires.

Companies that install artificial turf use it to make the turf stand up and give it cushion. I got mine from a friend that installs it. If not check out granulated rubber in a search.

i have worked dnr tire cleanup jobs in iowa. moved semi loads to Des Moines. that is where i got mine.

There is a place in Queensland that sells it in 20-40kg bags @ about $1.20 per kg. As the other guys have said try some companies that supply the soft finish in play grounds (same stuff)
