![]() Did a real dumb thing today.....actually last night about 2330 hrs....found out that i soldered the battry lead from a Lipo to a Deans connector on backwards......well i am sure you all can figure what happened next. A MFU makes a loud sizzling sound (kinda like bacon in grease) followered by smoke that smells like train smoke, then finally it makes a sound kinda like a small balloon. All of this in about 1.5 second.....it was faster than i couls say $#!T and pull the plug apart. The moral of the story: Don't solder battery leads at 2330 after wokring all day and trying to get ready for a show the next when you have to get up at 530. Guess i will have a new MFU on the way!! stuff happens!!!! ![]() ![]()
