I have been working on this for a few weeks now. Just getting around to post pictures. I have a King Hauler. Also purchased pretty much every upgrade for it.

I started with a 6" stretch in the frame ![]() Added an aftermarket front axle ![]() I purchased these rear ends off a vendor on ebay ![]() Then of course I had to have some authentic Peterbilt wheels from Steve at IHB ![]() Have a rolling chassis now ![]() ![]() Also tried my hand at some body work. I have always like the standup bunk on the Peterbilt. Started cutting styrene and this is what I came up with. I didn't measure for scale, just eyeballed it and looks pretty close to me anyways..... ![]() ![]() Still have lots of goodies to put on this build. Thanks for looking......Barry Last edited by Stretch379; 09-21-2013 at 07:15 PM. |

Wasn't happy with the front axle I had on the truck. Just wasn't tight enough, lots of slop in in it. I ordered an Integy front axle. This is a nice axle. No slop in it.

Great start man. A six inch stretch is a long tractor, good luck running her indoors lol.

Yea she is a long one for sure. I have a 49" flat to pull behind it. All told a 5' 4" rig to drive. Our house isn't that big, should make for some real challenge
