Hello Trackmaker, for cutting the pieces use a machine called DREMEL, and to weld the pieces I use tin and a gas torch, then put a picture of the tool

Thank you Berna that's what I cut with and I use a small propane torch with silver solder.

I'm not too surprised at the amount of time involved. Building something like this completely from scratch is no small task. I can't wait to see the finished photos!
