Hi,

This is my next project, Liebherr PR744

Chassis - brass
Drive - Pololu #1107 1:131
Track - alu track from http://www.rcbrmin.com/excavator-112...ces-p-683.html
Electronics - my project on Arduino Mega 2560 + VNH2SP30 Shield
Several elements printed on a 3D printer

No, laser does not cut brass, this is cut on home made cnc mill.

Wow! Nice! Seriously, sooooo awesome!!!

Why an Arduino?

The gears look weak, you might have to slot and key the gear on the motor shaft. I'm not sure if that is the proper term. I had problems with a gear slipping on my loader.

Dude really awesome build, keep the pictures and text coming if you have the time to post them up.

How many hydraulic valves/functions are you thinking of having?

Very cool! Glad this got bumped, I had not seen this project until now. What gear ratio are the drive motors? And, is the speed/power about right? What battery are you running? Haven't watched the video yet, hope my questions are appropriate.
