I have been busy with work the last few weeks, it is good to see that there is lot's of action on the thread.. Great builds and good information.. Attached is some photo's of what I have been working on and also I was able to get some photo's of the Christmas cement mixer as it went by my home. I never had a chance to take good picture as I was in the shop building when I heard the horn honking.. The photo's I took don't do it justice...

You see there is three holes on each side of the swing motor. That is what the house main plate is attached to..

http://servocity.com/html/spg785a_top_mount.html The servo city drive I get at 6 rpm, then invert it, the gear is mounted solid to the undercarrage. greg |

Thank you so much for sharing that part, I have been scratching my head for quite a while on how to build the turntable. That part is perfect.

If you checkout my thread starting on #370 you will see how I built my continues rotation.. ( slip ring ) The wires come up through the centre shaft of the swing motor and then solder to the brass rings...

A slip ring would take care of the transfer to spinning mixer drum.

RClogger, are all those roadbuilder pics floating around here somewhere or were they all on GT? I need some pics of the fuel tank/counterweight setup.
