the l.e.d. headlights are hyper brites and they are equivilent to the h.i.d. headlights in scale.my other good friend tuan(pronounced ton)from another forum and local to me is the genius who is awesome when it comes to l.e.d. lights has done this beautiful job on my optimus prime you see here its not quite done but it is sure on its way to being done ...woo....hooo

here is a picture i thought to add to this thread.we were at the clifford truck show now keep in mind optimus is still under construction but here he is beside another friends decepticon build called motomaster .i am really happy how this is turning out so i might get update trigger happy on all of you...just bear with me please...thanks

received the storage boxes for optimus in the mail today from the same guy who did the grille for optimus..

yes like lynn said the c bracket is removable .i am removing mine and its easy to turn the c bracket around and use the holes as a guide to drill .i am mounting mine to the frame directly and eliminating the bracket altogether...i will be doing that some time today or tomorrow so i will post pics of it i am going to put a little slot on the holes as looking at the box the bracket is a little crooked and i want them to sit evenly

got the storage box installed ,just have to put a spacer between the frame and the box like lynn suggested .it will make room to attach the headache rack and oh by the way i lowered the headache rack as it sat abit too high so now it is almost level with the bunk like it should be...its getting there

**** thats looking sweet. Ive got some warm white leds for headlights, most tend to be a cool white that has a blue tinge to them. The warm whites tend to the slightly yellow end of the spectrum, which helps to differentiate them from all the blue leds.

That's awesome. Sometimes I like the warm white LEDs for headlights, and sometimes I like the cool white LEDs. In the case of all the blue marker lights, I'd almost say warm whites would stand out a little more on the headlights.
