Default Faroe PC270 Excavator

I picked up the Faroe PC270 + the bucket kit for a very good price. They were selling it as a demo version and would apparently arrive with dirt in the tracks.

Once here I took it apart and can confirm that they sent me a new one. Only the pump was ran and tested as per their pre-shipping tests. The tracks had no sign of being ran in the dirt. Infact the excavator was spotless.

It was missing the mirror supports but the kit was complete apart from that.

One thing I can confirm as per many comments i've seen is that the windows break easily. I've cracked a few just by installing snug. Not even tight. I will be picking up a clear container from the dollar store and making my own.

I did a few tests in the house and this thing is smooth and has the perfect speed to it. I printed a few parts and did a few modifications such as move the tank over by 1 inch. It's much easier to install the battery.

I cannot wait to try it out at our construction site. I'll be posting videos we did this summer. Just have to find the correct section for videos.

It's a bit big. I have a Volvo 1/14 that fits perfect but the PC270 is able to fit just on the edges. It's a 1/12 so there's about only 1/2 inch of the track that is on.

still manageable.

Oh wow , its a big machine. Is your trailer able to handle the weight if not the width.

Yes. It weighs about 40lbs and no problem on the trailer.
