Now that is some fantastic machine-work Gipicarto !
( I am always jealous when I see these type of projects , would love to do stuff like that , but never would have the time for it .)

Ever since I first saw this build, I have been totally amazed by the detail and workmanship. And, I believe, all the machine work is manually controlled - no CNC? Thanks for sharing this incredible project!

I'm so glad we have this thread here to refer to. I haven't seen this machine for a while. I had a guy yesterday at our Antique Caterpillar meet show me a picture of a D9 with lots of detail including hydraulics he bought that's powered by a model airplane engine. He wouldn't tell me what he paid but he did say he traded things and a real machine but didn't say what machine.
If you don't mind me asking, What would your D11 be worth? I know it's not for sale but the D9 model doesn't have no way near the detail as yours and it sold for a pretty penny. |

the craftsmanship in this build is amazing I'm truly gob smacked by the detail and how well it replicates the real machine

Wow. This is without a doubt the coolest project I have ever seen, done in miniature RC scale. I'm completely lost for words. It's as if you shrunk down the 1:1 machine. It's perfect. Amazingly epic! Incredible.

Wow, truly outstanding build. I remember seeing this on an Italian construction equipment forum I believe. I was amazed then and am amazed now. She will be quite the looker when a coat of CAT yellow gets thrown on her.

Mere written text cannot even begin to express the WOW factor of this build !!
The time, patience, skill, and attention to detail are just beyond belief. It is almost criminal to think this craftsmanship will be hidden beneath a coat of paint.

I would opt to leave it bare metal, looks to good to paint.
