Yes It runs great. Sometimes it is a bit hard to start but if you know the technique it works every time. Sometimes the hydraulic lifters don't pump up right away but after a few minutes they come up. I put a new rebuilt engine in not long after I bought it in 2007. The original wouldn't had blown up if I would have seen the mouse nest hidden on the LH cyl head overheating it and popping the exhaust seat out of the head. We were up to camp the middle of February and it started after 12pulls. I wasn't run since Thanksgiving and it was sitting in a steel sea container.

I can confirm that it runs great! Steve's son Mike and I rode around on it at the the Brownsville 1:1 show and that thing climbs like you wouldn't believe. There was a real steep, loose pile of dirt that we drove up and not only did it make the climb, it never even lost traction the whole way up the hill.
