"Bo, the way youtube has changed it's resolution settings, my old gopro looks blurry even with it's hidef setting @ 200mb/minute, my video posting days are pretty well done with just a wireless connection, too slow & too costly!"

That sucks......ugh. Was hoping for more entertainment. They Don't make things easy for Guys outside town anymore. I was Googling High Speed Internet in Canada.......O'boy no fun reading at all........I understand your frustration.
Well there is one reason to start planning a road trip.......i wanna see more of this continent anyway. And your great project i've ben following for many years by now.

That sucks your not gonna be posting videos anymore. It is a Hassel to take the video, edit it, and then upload it. If you would mail your edited videos to be I'd gladly upload it to YouTube for you Joe. One bonus living close to a city is high speed Internet.

Rural Canada is not great Bo, wireless is expensive & data restricted... about the only negative I can think of for the living in the country, but not that much of a priority to ever consider moving to town.

How would that help me Evan when the video email needs to be of good quality to still upload to youtube?

My Izzy dozer tracks are wearing out!

I had just enough slider travel to take out two links to reconnect the track. I put the lighter set of springs back in, it'll help lengthen the life of the tracks somewhat... but after trying it out the track is still skipping in reverse, not forward... strange

Shorten two links

Before it was shortened two links

I forgot to take a before pic, but before taking out two links the front idlers were another 12 to 20mm ahead so at certain positions of the blade near bottom of travel, the grouser bars were catching the eye bolts on the lift cyls.

I need some new tracks soon Stevie

Operations in the lean-to last couple weeks, widowing down the lumpy pile.

Pile the damp lumps on the adjacent wall... fire up the diesel heater once a day to a temp of 30C in the room to help dry out lumps quicker.

Pile the screenings in the back room.

Last warm spell in early March I had a screening pile about half the size as above, dumped it out the back door of the shop, as the snow had melted away , bulldozed the fine dirt out along the north wall. It's been spring temps again this last week, couple more days will make it dry enough to do that again.

...Lives so far out that that he has to mail his internet usage.

Atleast it looks like you've got better lighting and more room to play out there than the basement had.

Well congrats on finishing the big dig. How much material you estimate you moved out? Been taking me a while to get all caught up.. Oh and nice bucket! Very interested in seeing more of those new parts.

Amazon Cloud offers a service they call Snowmobile. A Trailer filled with hdd's drives to customer's data center, uploads data to trailer, trailer travels to nearest Amazon data center, uploads data to data center. I think they started it with a service called snowball which was you mail them a hdd. The theoretical bandwith is shockingly high.

If those were rails for a fullsize dozer i'd say they are well past done. Looking forward to seeing the rock bucket on the 963 and the upgraded screening bucket on the 850.

Back in 07 when I 1st started putting vids on youtube I would take my laptop to town & drive around till I found someone's unsecured isp signal to pirate I might have to resort to those tactics again... I got 4G wireless in Fall of 10.

Yes it is frizzen great to be upstairs in natural light, & these LEDs lights are bright too. The basement dimensions are 18x28 (feet) with a lot of clutter in the middle, lean-to 15x42 & back room 18x30.

Thanx Jason, not quite done yet, but close. I'd have to remeasure as I took less than I had original planned... it'd be mid 20's cubic yard. The buckets are a treat to put together, everything fits so perfectly.

Interesting service hvy1ton, I'm sure it was conceived for remote construction sites...

Finishing up the loading bucket, just the leveling bucket & U blade left to do

The 963 spade bucket in front, it's about 40mm narrower than the WA500 spade bucket.

Something big enough to break out the bottom of the crate?

What's in the box?

Perhaps to make the "guess it" game a lil easier I should ask: What moron shipping company do you think it is that could blow the floor out of a wooden crate made from 1/2 inch plywood?!

Here's what's in the box

The steel belt pulley is bent! there's a slight wobble to it in one spot.

The jaw opening is 3x4.

Oh, look, it's a right-handed, molecular aggregate re-arranger! Shipping company must have used it incorrectly - usually material goes in the hopper instead of dropping the unit on the aggregate. Hope you get it worked out okay with them. Nice looking unit.

You betcha Mike, a big rock crusher! ...it will break rock, needs a 3/4hp electric motor & I have one that use to run my 21 foot conveyor that I had in the basement nearly a decade ago... geez time flies!

Ken, the maker/seller told me to get a new pulley & he'd reimburse me the cost... the pulley is on a browning hub, I'm pretty sure I can find another like it in town.
