Never used a Futaba... just flysky mainly because of cost and availability. 10 channels seems to be enough for me anyway.... like I posted in your other thread

"I use a flysky upgraded i6 with 10 channels and an i6x either will work.."

My Bruder converted tracked loader runs from a Futaba radio. The radio operates it decently.
