Default First King hauler build

Hey guys
finally got my first king hauler. is going to be a fairly basic build. what im going for is a cross between an Aussie road train, and an American 18 wheeler (in my opinion :P)
the first big chance was trying to make snorkels for the air filters. so i used the original exhaust pipes as the tubes

and with a bit of plastic and several hours of gluing and filing away i came up with heads to top them

with a billet bull bar, a visor, bug guard, diffrent grille and bent exhausts im liking the look so far

still a long way to go, just waiting on a set of bearings and some servos, once i get those parts i can get the diffs and gearbox built and mounted and mount some wheels. then a lick of paint and it should be good to go for a first attempt
thanks for having a look

hey guys. small update on how my rig is coming, got it stripped back down to paint, decided the main color to be yellow, as its been the color all but 1 of my race cars have been. little undecided on a 2nd color, the 2 im tossing up between are orange and purple. i fond both go well and compliment yellow but am unsure which goes better. anyway, heres a photo of how i am planning to put the 2nd color

purple came out a lot darker than expected
stil need to clean up the edges that came out really badly, and tidy up the small bits of overspray. but thought you guys would like a small update as to how its going

I like the choice of colour but I cant help but think it could do with another colour on the edges of your second colour maybe a red pinstripe perhaps I don't know but its a good looking project that I would love to see more of I think that the air filters are brilliant. please keep posting pictures of your progress

Looks good, maybe orange or silver pinstripes around the purple?
