Default Bell 50 ton Dumper - ADT

Its been ordered! Now the wait begins, should be ready for delivery early Feb, I only ordered it 2 hours ago and the suspense is already killing me!

After inviting myself to a fellow RC constructions house and playing for the whole day I just had to get a 360 Excavator and Dumper. I’ve been exchanging a few emails with Frank a very nice German fella who is passionate about the models he designs and builds, who also happens to be the same person who designed and built the big Hitachi/Deere excavators.

I went for this one as it looks very sturdy, well built and engineered to last, look at the guy standing in the bucket, plus there are no others in the UK. Another bonus, its cheaper than the Wedico ( agreed it doesn’t come painted, where as the Wedico does ) and it’s not a lot more expensive than the Stahl Volvo version.

From looking at the photos below you’ll see it’s a kit and can be painted any colour I choose, I love the white version… decisions decisions…!

Here are a few photos to wet your and my appetite and a video as well!

Roll on February is all I can say…

The ideal pair

Yep the ADT and 360 go hand in hand... the next purchase will be the 360... when the funds are available...

Congratulations Elliot, I look forward to hearing your reviews on this model.

The 850 is quite a treat to put together thus far.

I know but I doubt there's a trailer strong enough to hold the Vario excavator.. by all accounts its a beast!

That's a pretty strong trailer although the tractor unit looked like it struggled a little on the bridge but then its hardly surprising... thanks for the link.

I think I recognized the Hitachi from another forum.

Still can't decide if its too big or not??

Yep, it looks like Ole's one, from what I understand its now sold to a fellow member of the club.

I'm torn between the Vario exc and Liehberr 944 demolition... I am worried that the Vario one will be too big and too heavy to cart about - I would love to see them side by side... to compare them.

What is needed is a beam trailer that way you can block it up and chain it down to any height you want, that is with in reason. Ed

Congrats! This looks like a really nice ADT! Is this a Vario product too? Wow. They aren't wasting any time with new models, are they? I sure could go for one of these! Maybe a wheel loader is next on the list. That would be really nice. Please do share some (a lot!) photos when your new model arrives!

Thanks, can't wait for it to arrive.. and there will be lots of photos..

This isn't a Vario product, its made by http://translate.google.co.uk/transl...www.fumotec.de who is the same person who designed and built the now Vario Excavator. It explains it on the website..

A wheel loader would be nice... and if made by Frank, would be strong as well.
