I placed an order on Amazon this weekend. I decided that I needed a comfortable chair to replace the metal folding chair I had been using as a desk chair. That metal chair wasn't too comfortable for the hours I spent at the desk working on editing & preparing PNWSTE videos. I think my new chair.............although NOT the Clutch brand that I fell in love with, will serve me well.

Here's the box as it showed up at my doorstep tonight.

Here it is all assembled. It only took me about 20 minutes from the time I started to unbox it, to the time I had a completed chair.

I'm anxious for Christmas to get closer. have a few PNWSTE video clips that have been set to Christmas music. I'll post em up as the time gets closer. If there's enough people that like it, I will post the entire month of December's videos next year with Christmas themed music.

The Faroe loader has been assembled. Here's a lil test video of it's maiden voyage. A short lil 3 minute test run to make sure everything functions properly, & that there are no leaks within the hydraulic system

Here's a lil sampler vid from a friend's project. He built the Mammoth BC8 from Cross, & fitted a hydraulic crane to the rear of er.

Looks like there's been a ton more equipment coming into the group.

If you're gonna do christmas videos, maybe find some where the operators look at least a little cold? (Not a guy in shorts)

Maybe one where they Dig scale 'presents' out of soft dirt, load into dumptruck? Find the presents with the grizzleys? Santa with a hardhat or scale operator with santa hat?

(Frizzen sure throws a lot of stones for how many videos he's uploaded...)

Yes sir there has been a huge influx of new equipment. We were truck rich & equipment poor. Now we are slightly truck poor fo rthe amount of equipment we have. That's a good problem to have

That guy always wears shorts. He wore shorts in February when the 3 original PNWSTE members first met. It was a cold day (Cold for us in the PNW area.) that day.

We did the PNWSTE scavenger hunt with the machines . That is planned to be repeated yearly for the group.

I think I need to try & find a scale santa. I LOVE that idea! I just may know someone that can make a santa hat for one of the operators. I'll have to see if they are interested in making anything that small. That'd be awesome to do.

This weeks PNWSTE video, continuing the testing of the Faroe loader. Last week we just did a basic function check. After a short test run it was time to take er back to the shop to check it over. This week, we actually get to put it to work a lil bit. We especially went above & beyond normal working conditions to test with, near the end of the video.

That scavenger dig gave me the idea for digging scale presents.

Small wood blocks, paint a color, maybe some pinstripe tape ribbon on a few. Maybe santa has a Mine instead of a Workshop or Factory. Maybe the helpers and elves run heavy equipment and trucks. I dunno.

That Loader looks to have some power.

Yes sir, it had much power.

PNWSTE had our final gathering of the year on Dec. 15th. It was an impromptu gathering, so we had a small percentage of folks that were able to attend. Shortly after the first of the year I'll have some video from this event where the Faroe loader was HARD at work.
