Amazing work. I love how different metals look against each other at this stage of a build like this. (Of which there aren't many) Dan

Thanks man, I havent spent as much time on this lately because I have been trying to finish Tims 5 ton first and as of yesterday it is finished and on its way to him!! So now I will get to spend a little more time on this one again after I start working on finishing my basement.

That looks so nice it makes me want to try too Where do you copy the shape for all the parts like motors mounts and support brackets or do you just go by your head?

I have a friend I met through the forums that has the real deal and he has sent me 100s of pictures of all the fine details. I wouldn't have been able to have done it without him.

You should for sure give it a shot, nothing ventured nothing gained

Its a little embarrassing to say buy im still working on this lol.

I have only ran it a couple of time and broke both front inner axles. I have since replaced the stock inners with cvds. I haven't ran it with them installed yet but I have high hopes!
I did manage to build new front springs they are a lot beefier should hold up better now.

as the axle broke it took out the little undersized bearing in the axle housing

WOW!!! What happened with the axial trans? The articulation from such a large truck is truly impressive.

I should have read the other two pages. The detail is amazing, I dig the seat you made on the first page with the spring under it. Again top work!!!

Very nice craftsmanship and detailed. Continue with posting this and it will look great when it's all done and painted.
