RCP57: Could alway use some help moving dirt.lol
Snochaser: The truck is my logging truck with the rigging off, the low bed trailer has been in the fleet for a while, it is alittle light on the construction so it will surely break in half one day..
Lil G: The dirt is wet and heavy due to the rain showers almost everyday..

Here is a yarding video, I was surprised that I could still operate it...lol

Hey Greg, I was wondering where do you get the track drive chain from? I spoke to western equipment in vic and although it's expensive they can get it but it will take 6 weeks. Apparently their supplier makes it up per order and sells it by the foot. I need at least 5-6 feet and would like it yesterday... I know it's my fault for not planning ahead but you know how it is...

Thanks Reg

WOW What happened to the summer, the calender says it is September now and Iam thinking work is going to slow down and some modeling can get done.
I have not had much time to keep up with the thread, it will take some time to catch up. I see there is some very nice models being built and also working.

Here is a few more photo's of the truck show last weekend.

Joe ! Out of practice, forgot to take video ! !

Had some time this past weekend and started on a winter project, I found some material at the hardware store that was interesting. I am using it to make a track pad that is a cross between a excavator pad and a dozer pad....

Now where were you on that one when I built the tracks for my 955. Haha just kidding Greg! That has a good look to it though. Looks a lot like the track pads on our real 955.

What section of the hardware store was that in?.......

Greg, you've been busy. The cross section looks real good. How much did you have to remove from the top bar to fit it in. And Reg it's in the flooring section, but it's too late he bought it all.

Hey guys
The pad top and bottom are Dura-Alunimum from building supply stores. I just happend to see the groves alun and thought that it may add to the pads... It comes in 8 foot lengths.
Joe: I am starting on new undercarrages for hyd log loader. Still have to figure out how to build a CAT 527 skidder and be able to fit everything into it !

Here is the process I used to make the pads.
