How come you didn't go with the TXT-1 axles? It's more than twice the reduction and a lot more mass grabbing with the gears vs just a crown & pinion.

Looking for a link I see the axle/trk kit was discontinued in 2012, but some good alternatives would be the Blackwell axles..
http://store.rc4wd.com/Blackwell-X1-...xle_p_451.html ... or even the Bully Comp axles (I've never used them myself) eliminating the need for a transmission, transfer case & driveshafts. http://store.rc4wd.com/Bully-2-Compe...le_p_3324.html

The txt 1 axles were the best. Too bad they don't make them anymore

The axle used in most German loaders and dumpers with a traditional driveline.

Nice - wish I had the skills to build my own!
Since short, ScaleArt has added a drive axle for wheel loaders to their catalog. Bit pricey though. 425 € with 19% sales tax and 358 € without the tax https://scaleart-shop.de/en/Drive-Te...l-loaders.html |
