Yo dawg,

So my mini "Notchback" inspired someone on this board, but they're being shy about a really cool project. Anyway, they've developed a pretty sweet wheel solution for theirs, that could get mine back in the game.

Gotta do some 3d printing, then order a set of either Tamiya 70111 (white wheel) 69916 (clear wheel) 56mm tire OD street tread, probably make some tire foams... Then probably track down these same rims for my big car... then repaint the small car with what the big car is getting ...then we'll go over pick up mum, kill phil (sorry phil), and then we'll all go down to The Winchester, have a pint, and wait for all this to blow over!

Those printed rims look good. Did you design them, & who printed them for you?

The big rims were designed by some dude at Pontiac, and i didn't pay attention to what foundry made them.
The little rims were designed by another crazy fiero guy (Dremu) on this board, I'm very glad he was willing to share the files!
These were printed by a guy i work with, using some type of printer, and some type of filliment.

Once i have some of the Tamiya rubber here, i can figure out how much the wheel needs narrowed. We'll also see how well the scale of a "ToyState" fiero matches a "Newbright" fiero.

(Dremu should post up his project)
------
Big wheels were made at Western Wheel Corp. K-h pr57. In 1986.

As always, the response made me LOL a bit. Thanks, Frizzy. I needed a good laugh for the day!
Agreed, Dremu should feel encouraged to share his project here!
