Looks great Freddy! How about you trim the tires? Maybe cut the outer section of tire off, that would make it look more scale. It will also fix your turning problem. Can't wait for an update!

Thanks guys!
Well threw in the towel on this be'in the mini of my 1:1. Gunna round up a new set of parts & go for it again.(later)
Guess I'll just make this one the snow fighter. W/the parts I have now will never get it the way I want it to look.
So....Onward! Started platin the frame so I can stuff it full of goodies.

Then the servos.

Pump & linkages.

Now the valve body & servo mount plate.

No interior in this baby.

Thanks for lookin!

What kind of a dump box are you going for? I guess you not going to have a driver in the cab.

The chassis looks uneven, and the truck looks squished. Besides that it looks awesome Freddy!

Yea! She's short, that's why I'm going a different route. When I first started this build I took measurements off of my real truck because it looked short to me also. Then checked the model in 14th scale. That would have been fine,EXCEPT IT'S 10th scale. Figured out My head was up my a$$ half into the build! So between the diffs, wheels, tires & my screw up,It's now going to be the plow King!
Don't know if you boys ever seen my salt truck, that looked like a robot inside & swore I'de never go that route again. Didn't take long & here's another one.
Well didn't like the plastic tank so decided to make one as part of the truck.

Then started packin in around it.

Yea! Just love it when you best find a shoehorn to put the cab on.
Thanks for lookin!
FGD

OH! & Trucker, maybe take a look in the mirror,& see if what your lookin at ain't a little uneven on that end.
Thanks Guys!

Freddy, I know those tires are awesome but go with the stock tamiya tires and it will look more scale. The 1/10 f350 body with the 1/14 tires usually looks good. I've seen other dually projects from other people and they look fine. That will also help narrow up the rear end.
Other than that it looks great as usual.

See ya later today.

Hey Trucker,Give you a hint. It starts w/an F.
Thanks Sneff.
Last time I wanted the pump to only run when needed,it got into some complex shyt. So this time I went about it a different way.See'in on how the servo has to move the valve, why not make it turn on the pump.

Nice'n easy. Also started on the front plow.

Between this truck & Big Bud, I'll be prayen for snow this year.
Thanks for lookin!

Very impressive Fred! I think you win a prize for the most electronics/hydraulics stuffed into the smallest cab!

Sierra Vista is almost to Mexico.

Trucker, CA hasn't fallen into the ocean yet, it is still next door to my future oceanfront property in Yuma.
