Knight Hauler
Does anyone know of or ever heard of a dummy engine that covers the electric motor under the hood? I'm thinking of maybe giving my Knight Hauler a tilt hood. Would be nice to see a big detailed CAT sitting in there when it tilts open.

Re: Knight Hauler
Yes , many guys have done it. It's a cat replica made by norshcot . I know I spelled it wrong. LOL. Some guys on here even hollow out the motor to fit the electric motor inside and make it look like the tamiya trans is bolted to the cat motor. Some of the other guys here can probably provide some pics or links to help.

If you're interested in the different types of engines for your truck, here's a link:

Re: Knight Hauler
Boom here you go, I thought I had saved e thread. It's a really good walk through, just read it a few times before jumping in and you'll have that ugly silver can covered up in no time.
http://rctruckandconstruction.com/showthread.php?t=2621 Also 3000toys.com normally has the engine in stock at a super awesome price. I purchased a few from them and have always had good dealings..... http://www.3000toys.com/catalog/item...9#.UXCSm8u9KK0 Good luck with the build and post some pics when you get going at it. --Dan
