Default more globeliner help

What will I lack in running just a 3 channel radio in my globe. Just trying to save some dough for now. I have some remotes and a 3 ch receiver is only 45 bucks. Just wondering what extra does a 4 ch have vs a 3.
Thanks Chris

If you want a cheap esc I have used the tamiya esc.....for a basic esc they do pretty good. Forward reverse and braking.

Yea I pull 4 bricks around on my flat bed thru the off road. No issues. It has a built in overload protection. It will cut out if it sees to much of a load.

They are priced right as well

And if you go with Tamiya's latest offering it even has a LIPO low voltage cut out!

Ok guys,I got the tamiya esc mack attack posted and got the futaba 4yf radio and receiver. I just got done building the truck but all it will do is go forward and reverse by moving the left joystick side to side. I can't get it to steer of shift please help. This is my first build, truck came out awesome. Maybe someone with a similar setup can snap a pic for me. Thanks a lot in advance

do you have a MFU or just a 4-channel rcvr? A 4 channel radio is not gonna have a 3-pos switch for shifting.

Ch 1=
ch 2=aileron/steering
ch 3=throttle/throttle
ch 4=

No I don't have a mfu. I bought the 4 ch radio receiver combo. It should work the shift servo.

yup. sounds like channels were mixed up. even more frustrating when you get a channel backwards and right is left and left is right :P
