Question chevy or gmc?

hello folks.. so my king hauler will be here Friday I'm hoping,
And I've been kicking around some ideas on a truck build.

Ive already caught **** from pops on it but ive been thinking about making it into a chevy bison or a gmc general..

Chevy

Gmc

Why haven't I been able to find one on this site yet? Is the cab a difficult one to replicate? Or does everyone else just find them ugly?

Kinda like the idea of doing something different then a w900 or a 379...

so.... with that said, what do you think?

I always thought the 80s versions were cool trucks. And most were powered by Driptroits, so they had plenty of "sound" Either one as far as I'm concerned. But, they just aren't popular models so that's why you haven't seen one. Not sure if there is even a cab / hood available for it. You may end up scratch building most of it.

Yeah I thought it would be different..

I'm actually very surprised I haven't found one considering a gmc general was snowmans ride in smokey and the bandit ll...

I've found MANY replicas of snowmans kenworth though..

I was thinking the worst parts gonna be copying the fenders and where the hood meets the cab... any thoughts?

Thanks for letting me know about goose19... I just looked at some of his stuff... wow! You weren't kidding, but his parts look very nice..

I'm kinda digging his mack super liner cab and hood combo...

Does anyone know of others that sell body parts for our trucks on shapeways?
