Default Hay season's over, time for a winter re-do

I've kinda been in a building slump lately. I threw some big bucks into my 1:1 last month, and the motivation and funds for the small ones has been nil.

Until I saw Paul's new K100 single axle, and suddenly the motivation came back. So once again, the screaming yellow zonker is back on the bench, and ready for another facelift.

Thx Paul, but it's far from perfect. Just like celebrities, the camera can hide a lot of flaws. It still needs fenders hammered out, and mounted, a couple more Wedico tires for the dolly. More paint and clearcoat. And then finally wiring up all the LEDs. But hey, it only took 3 years to get it to this point, so don't hold your breath.

Thx for the good words, they are appreciated.

Well seeing as how there's no hay to haul this time of year, i figure pallets are the next best thing. And I just happen to have a bunch of'em. Stacking all these little buggers reminded me of why i sometimes drink beyond moderation

If you feel inclined to try and count them, let me save you the trouble. There's over 275 of them on there. Maybe i need to add winches and straps to the To-Do list too !

Great looking rig!
The Pete looks fantastic!

Looks like the 2nd trailer has a turntable, not a dolly?
Got any pics of this setup?

Thx Jim,

The pup does have a dolly and not a 'table under it. It looks odd as I still haven't got a jack to support the tongue on it yet.

Both trailers were built identical, and believe it or not, in a motel room !!

Wow!! That last photo shows how much work went into changing the hood and fenders, that could not have been easy. Very nice.

Hi Rick. Great truck and trailer combo! Good to see some more photos of the screamin' yellow zonker. The pallet load is really cool, but you know a lot of guys haul hay just as much in the winter time, as they do any other time of the year. Depends who's cows are hungry. I'll tell you this. If there are flaws in that truck, I sure don't see them.

Yes. At one time I had all the flame deals on it. Decided it was time for a change tho. I do still have another complete set if I ever want them back on. I really like this clean smooth look it has now.
