What's the best way to make ladders, handle rails and cat walk on a 1/16 excavator? The body is entirely made out of steel.

hey if you want you can contact Eclusive R/C on here and see what he has to offer that is if you dont want to make them and maybe have them produced

Bend up some K&S Piano wire and braze or solder it together. (Tig if you're a wizard-status welder) That's what I have planned for the Vario.

Jack that looks great. How did you attach the ladder to the actual body? In my case, the body of the Cat 390D excavator is entirely made from steel. Can I solder brass to steel? Or how can I do it?

You can also thread the ends of the ladder and attach the same way as side mirror bars attached to the model truck

I'll have to give that one a try. I've a decent iron, & can handle trying to fab a few things with soldering involved. I wish I had bigger better manly tools, but there isn't room in the garage for larg tools like welders, oxy/act torches & such.
