Default Tilt deck Tag trailer

I bought some nice wheels and tires from MPE months ago so I thought I should finally put them to use. I started on this tilt deck Tag trailer a few days back. Hopefully someone will like it and scoop it up. Price will be determined at the end of it all. We'll have to wait and see how many goodies I throw at it.lol

Here's what I have so far. I think it's coming along nicely and fit a variety of Bruder toys.

It would appear that Photobucket is taking a dump at the moment so I will post pics again as soon as it's working.

Thanks for posting the link. Seems my whole Photobucket is messed up. I can't see pictures in any of my posts.

They are beautiful Calvin. I'm not sure if MPE has anymore but I kinda wish I had another set. Oh well, gotta get this one sold first!

Tilt test. My video camera bit the dust so I'm using the still camera and filming with it is hit or miss. This is a mix of both.lol

Yeah they are, wonder if they fit my tag.

In the vid I think you said you used the actuators so it didn't tilt by itself. MTA actually has that trailer, saw it last night. Tilts with weight, when not loaded or once loaded there are clamps on both sides that lock it in place. Just incase someone wanted one not as jiggy as how your making this one lol

These trailers are a perfect fit for the dumptrucks reg, almost all the medium sized construction companies around here have triaxles and a trailer hauling backhoe or small dozer. Perfect match for the dump bodies !! Nice reg, what are you planning for decking? Just one piece of wood with simulated lines? Remember when I built the gooseneck? I wood burnt straight lines in one piece of wood and really looked like planking with less work and never having one board loosen up.

Thanks guys. I ended up using individual boards again but only because I didn't have anything on hand that would work the other way.lol

More progress and finally nearing completion! I spent another whole day tinkering around on this but I was able to make a jack from scratch as well as a few other pieces. D rings are on the add list but it's getting down to it now. Powder coat and then hopefully a buyer!

This would look great behind that GH Bo!

A picture of her underbelly showing the walking beams.

I TIG welded a plate on the end of each pivot pin to hold them in place.

All finished and ready for coating.

I'm looking to get $1000USD plus shipping. If anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can discuss it further.
