Thought give and update Got my lights in debating if i should keep those lens covers on?? turn signal too. http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-03184808.jpg Ladders and air cleaners are in http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-03185714.jpg Hood and hood side plate http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...03185607-1.jpg Over all view. since this pic i shortened the cowl between cab and engine carpartment 1/4 inch i wish i could do more but that would require too much moving of everything else. i get a pic up next time around. http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-03183937.jpg http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-03192033.jpg |

Re: PACIFIC P12W3
Thanks for all the kind words coming from you guys means a lot. thanks
update in winch which is driven from the engine threw the split shaft PTO. worm gear and worm are 60:1 http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-12073624.jpg Bearing housings are one inch diameter aluminum. and number 25 chain i wish i could find one size smaller. shaft is 1/4 in http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-12200047.jpg http://i1177.photobucket.com/albums/...6-12200033.jpg We did a test lift in the vise of 19lbs with drill motor and mason string just wrapped around shaft worked perfect. Outer support bearing next with spool does any body have any ideas on a 1/16 or 1/8 th inch very FLEXABLE cable or string. I dont want a large spool diameter so thats why cable needs to have a lot of flex |
Re: PACIFIC P12W3
Just an idea but what about a long fishing leader? They have super small braided ones. If you could get a spool of that I have seen them with 50lbs + test..
