Re: Liebherr 922
Hello! new member. Nice machine!

Re: Liebherr 922
Thank you guys! :)
This is my first hydraulic machine, i'm slowly ordering up new parts to improve the way it performs and looks Can anyone advise on my hydraulic pump? I'm looking to upgrade it to speed the movements up.. |
Re: Liebherr 922
My friend said use the same pump from leimbach and order extra rubber couplings with the pump

If it wears out the cylinders or valves i will just upgrade them to better spec items ;) I am also looking for a pressure gauge and fittings in the UK? Calum |
Re: Liebherr 922
Hey Ross u will not find a pressure gauge and fittings in the uk especially where you live ?
|
Re: Liebherr 922
Judging from the pics, this looks like an old machine... early 2000's?
It probably has 1.5mm ID hose & fittings... Just to go to 2mm ID plumbing speeds up the hydraulic flow dramatically with your current fitted Leimbach pump... similar to this one. http://youtu.be/yNMtwIds6Vc |

I did think about changing the hose size too, but I was unsure if it make that much difference? It was horribly slow before, so I changed the pressure on the pump which has made it better now. I decided to change the pump as the Leimbach would be working too hard all the time to keep everything moving. The machine works very well, the electronics will be replaced and modified as the pump runs continuously and the track control takes up a huge amount of space Calum |
Re: Liebherr 922
Out again for some more digging in a new location

Re: Liebherr 922
I don't believe so Scott. A great source is the link that avel posted above, they speak great English & ship fast to North America.
If you look at the pages in Hydraulic -> Leimbach -> Spare Parts on pg 1 & 2, you'll see the difference in thread size vs straight nipple/hose size... it varies again when using a 90* fitting. http://www.der-getriebedoktor.de/sho...l.php?kid=3121 http://www.der-getriebedoktor.de/sho...&von=21&bis=40 |

Re: Liebherr 922
Thanks, i thought you had drill and tap the cylinders to increase the fitting size but, didn't know for sure.

Just an Idea, RC4WD has 2mm Hose, this may work, but Joe would Know better than I.

Re: Liebherr 922
Hello everyone I'm trying to do this on my MC20, Its to contol functions on a digger, normal mode for digging and the sliders control the tracks. Then a switch setup to change the right stick to control the tracks. I have set up 6 mixes which seem to be working, but using the ELE towards you and AIR to the right is still moving the servo's I don't want to move (these work fine on the other direction) I there something simple I've done wrong?
Here's a video on a Spektrum radio which I'm trying to achieve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09fe49ply7o Many thanks Calum |
Re: Liebherr 922
Calum-
What you are trying to achieve is entirely do-able on your DX10. You simply have not configured your mixes completely right. This requires 2 mixes for each stick direction, both turned on by the switch. The first mix has to completely negate the original control commands...set up the mix to be completely opposite of the original control. You've manage to set up your mix correctly for up and left, but not down and right. A simple tweak of the mix parameters will solve this. This is my cancelling mix: Ele==>Ele -100% -100% and Ail==>Ail -100,-100 The second mix then adds the control to the stick that goes to the track drive. (For some reason that I do not entirely understand, I had to set mine up such that the original Ele and Ail channels controlled the tracks, then the mixes over-rode it and mixed control to the dig-arm. Otherwise the drive motors would not stop even when the sticks were neutral.) hope this helps. Paul |
Re: Liebherr 922
I've just sorted this tonight, I was a combination of 2 servo's needing slightly adjusted and having the values set to 150% instead of the correct 100%
