how would i do it?
 
how would i go about making a hydrualic motor for a small winch?
something simple if that possible! that my challenge to you guy!! plenty of pictures if you can

I think you would be far better off using an electric gearhead motor, or even a servo winch. A hydraulic motor is something you aren't going to be able to build very easily. An electric gearhead motor would most likely have greater torque too.

ya that what i did . easier doesn't look scale but works great

Could you make a scale, non-functioning winch from Styrene, and then place the working non scale winch (eg servo or 3 racing winch) behind or below, with the wire or rope going the non functioning unit to give the illusion that it works?

Take note - a hydraulic motor is a gear pump. So get a gear pump and hook it up!

i was thinking something kind of like a waterwheel? machining a whole putting a gear in the whole and somehow pumping fluid around the gear. if that made since
