Issue with my Grand Hauler... PLEASE HELP
Hey guys I'm having an issue with my grand hauler that I can't figure out.
everything on it works but i can't seem to keep it running, it will go for about 5-10 feet and stop running and the sound board will shutdown then fire back up again, but will still only go 5-10 feet no matter what gear i have it in. if anyone can give me some insight it would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance. |
Re: Issue with my Grand Hauler... PLEASE HELP
May sound like a dumb question but are the batteries fully charged in both truck and transmitter ?

Re: Issue with my Grand Hauler... PLEASE HELP
Disconnect everything from the rx.
Connect esc, try running. Connect a servo, try running. Connect another, try running... eventually something should cause it to act up, remove it again and see if it works ok. Is the antenna ok and away from the motor? Does motor have caps installed? |
Re: Issue with my Grand Hauler... PLEASE HELP
Don't know what electronics/sound you got, but if it's Tamiya MFC? There are issues if one got a steering servo that draws quite much power, the unit sometimes have issues dealing with it in combination with running the main motor. Also experienced issues when driving with heavy loads, when the MFC can't deliver enough amps, it just cuts and restarts.

If the battery hasn't dropped a cell (nimh), then my money is on the tamiya/molex plug.
