so i got leaks! EVERYWHERE!!!!

ok i been working on converting my old screw drive dump trailer to hydraulic! well got everything working smooth strong and nice. then this morning when i took it ti the park for the first real day out, well......... it dripped, then leaked then just flowed antifreeze out like its a river. what happened?

ok this is the setup.
1. mangon hrc pump
2. smc pneumatic cylinders
3. tamiya kit esc.

its pouring out the little push lock fittings. it was working for a week and
it was going really good. but then this!

you know i broke the man rule though i was showing it to a pretty hot single mom and her son! thats what did it!!:cop:

by the way please help!! what should i do? new fittings new cylinders? burn it all with fire?

Hello, I have owned the Magom HRC pump myself and the instructions i got from Magom in spain was that it should never be used with normal hydraulic fluid , you should use radiator coolant , also called antifreeze. it is thinner than normal hydraulic fluid and has less pressure in the hoses and cylinderes when operating.
I had the system on my wheeled loader and it also leaked like crazy with normal hydraulic fluid.

I have the same problem and I am using antifreeze. I can't get a tight enough fit on the connections. I haven't been able to run my new loader yet because the hoses leak like crazy. I am almost ready to get the crazy glue out.

i ended up gett a new set of cylinders and better fittings. they are a tad bit larger. and using retainers from robart helped so much! hope that helps?
