Re: 1930s dumptruck - Nylint

Moving high volume payload isn't exactly the priority with this truck.

Re: Rectangular headlight and tail light lenses

What style of lights are you trying to make? I'm guessing 'halogen sealed beams' for front, but what style tail lights?

One downside with using clear resin is that All of them will eventually turn...

Re: Build an Excavator from Scratch

I'm sorry you feel that way, and that feeling is a large part of why so many forums and message boards become ghost towns.

Your solutions and build techniques are really impressive. I've been...

Re: Axle suggestions?

That's a really interesting idea ddmckee!
I wouldn't have thought of it since most of the 3D printed stuff i've messed with so far was either done with less stable plastics or at lower % infills.

Atleast the Heiliner power unit...

Re: Axle suggestions?

I'll probably need to set up the bruder medical clinic playset to make sure all the action figures have current tetanus shots before we try to drag these out of their grave.

But really they're...

Re: International Harvester Farmall 1256 (1967-69)

Thanks tgrzes! i really like the look of these even if they're still a lot bulkier than the toys cast hexagonal axle tubes of the real machine. With some paint, they seem to camoflage into the...

Re: Bruder D5 dozer - JerryIndy

He wants a Dozer and Dumptruck. Sure the dump could pull the dozer on a trailer, but how's he going to be able to feed the dump? That little Sandloader it was pulling isn't going to work for much...

International Harvester Farmall 1256 (1967-69)

This tractor has already shown up in a few pics as background clutter for my Cockshutt 70 build. It's an old 1/16 Ertl toy.
Not going to be anything too exotic: gearmotors, nimh, 2 ch, keeping it...

Sometimes you can do an image search of...

Re: Cockshutt 70 tractor (1935-48)

Thanks jerry.
But best i can tell, it wouldn't really be much of a "Farm collection" without atleast 1 area full of "the old cr p that doesn't run".

There's a lot of Green tractors here, because...
