Re: LIPO , no juice in 1 cell

I agree. Even if it's an expensive battery pack, it's not worth the risk of trying to save it. The last thing you want to do is burn up a model, or far worse.....

Nice! Looking forward to seeing that 3 point hitch all finished up and on the tractor.

Re: I need radio help please!

Mario, I'm not too familiar with this brand of radio and the programming of them, but is there any chance you flipped a toggle switch that would be tied to a throttle hold function on a helicopter...

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Thanks Diesel Demond! I like Peterbilts and Kenworths pretty much equally.

Thanks Stuart! Bigger is better, right? :D

Re: trying to fund a new excavator wondering.

Isn't there a website that sells Bruder models converted into RC hydraulic machines? I'd look to see what one of those models costs, and then plan to sell yours for less. Hard to say what you could...

Re: Bobcat pics

I've never seen one of those bobcats before! Kind of cool. Is that a trail camera or a security camera? Nice resolution and depth of field on those photos.

Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

Lou, nice work! I like the fact that's not only a totally functional trommel, but it's also a great load for the trucks to haul around. It looks great all set up and running, but it also looks nice...

Re: New KW

Definitely a good looking truck. Proof that you don't need to do a whole lot of bodywork to really improve the realism of the good old King Hauler. I like it, and it looks great in white.

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Wow, Paul, I don't know what to say except thanks for the kind words. I really appreciate it! I agree with you about the weight making a big difference in the handling and realism of the truck. ...

Re: D11 New Project

Wow! The D11s are all looking really good. The one in your video runs so smooth too. All around, this is one very well designed, machined, and built model. I'm glad you were able to recover the...

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Thanks Big John! Yes, I wanted a sort of old school, retro rod look, mixed in with some modern touches. Kind of like a pro-touring late 60's muscle car. Best of both worlds!

Thanks...

Re: CORVETTE RACING

The stripes look great, wolfws6. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? The chrome stripe on your trailer is bordered with a black pinstripe. The truck cab looks like it has a black stripe bordered...

Re: Rebuild of a Knight Hauler after a Crash

Nice work on refreshing the Knight Hauler up. Your brass work looks very nice. Am I seeing some sort of under chassis light tubes for a neon effect in the rear of the truck? I'm interested to see...

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Thanks Craig. Yes, I think they are just about the same diameter. The stacks are 5/8" I.D. so the O.D. probably is 3/4", which is the same O.D. as my air cleaners. A little overkill........maybe. ...

Re: CAT330D-L full hydraulic

That counterweight is beautiful. It looked like a very clean casting, even before you smoothed and finished it. Great work!

Re: LIPO , no juice in 1 cell

No juice at all? If the bad cell really does read super low, I wouldn't try to revive it. It went bad for a reason. Likely an internal short that drained it. I would be leery of trying to charge...

Re: Precision IH 1466 Custom

Beautiful, Craig. It was a pleasure seeing these tractors in person, when I stopped in to visit with you and your wife. You've got a really nice collection that just keeps getting better and better.

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Not much in the way of BIG updates right now, but I've gone back and made a few little changes, to jazz things up a bit. My original stack mounts looked kind of boring, and I felt like they needed a...

Re: Gjerstad bucket 3000l

Wow, that is the nicest excavator bucket I think I have ever seen! It's a work of art in itself, as a stand alone model. Very nice.

Re: The ultimate car driving simulator!

Seems like a cool, and fun idea, but it also seems to highly over exaggerate the yaw of the vehicle being driven. I've never been in any vehicle that stands on it's nose when you put the brakes on. ...

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose

Ed, yes, that's one of the options I am considering. Thanks.

Mario, that's a cool site. I've seen some other places that have surface mounted LEDs in some pretty small sizes, but this one...
