Angry Aaargh! Warped frame rails!

Well after many hours wasted going crazy wondering why after countless measuring and adjusting and measuring again, the front fenders on my truck seemed not to be level. Didn't matter how many times...

Re: Rollback tow truck

I don't know why anyone would give this lukewarm feedback, it's great, really innovative and great engineering with the working bed. Nice job on making something different.

Re: My little pete project

That's a great looking bunk! Front and rear fenders look good, I think I'm gonna have to get some from John myself for a new project I have brewing in my head.

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Was the original mount too high? Maybe just add some diagonal bars like the original setup, maybe that's what's missing from the current mounts. Looks good anyway, deck plate is cool.

Re: King Hauler Overhaul..

Wow looks really sharp, the fenders and headlights really give it the pete look. Nice detail with the painted hubs. The wheels give that extra touch of realism and complement the rest of the truck.

Re: 2011 - June 11 ECLC Show Pics

Wow what a great setup! Good variety of trucks. Must have been great fun to drive your trucks about with so many others there to interact with. Love the East Coast truck stop there. The orange...

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 6-13-11

That is one of a kind right there, really great detail. It's the kind of thing you could never sell to anyone because of all the blood sweat and tears invested in it. Can't put a price on that.

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Ouch! Chip that filler off and it would be ok. But it would probably take as much time as it would take to work the fenders on your other shell that already has the perfectly formed top to the hood....

Re: King Hauler Overhaul..

Well there's motivation for everyone to show their sleepers! I have been modding a king hauler sleeper to resemble a peterbilt flat top. It's only taken me the best part of a year!!! I'm sticking...

Nice work on the unibilt sleeper, really adds to the peterbilt look. Not to mention yet another sharp paint job. You're a truck building machine!!

Re: King Hauler - Yet another W900

Very nice painting skills there, looks really good. As well as the trailer you need a trans am to complete the collection! And some smashed up police cars! And a whole row of motorcycles to run over!...

The trailer is superb, any more details on it?

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Troy you have a talent in making trucks look BAD. And this one is no exception! Steps look great. I wonder if it would be possible to duplicate them in resin? Then it would save the precious monogram...

Re: Nick's 379 build

Thanks Troy! Any progress on the KW truck on the far right of your sig pic? And what about the one on the far left, looks cool, don't think we've seen that one?

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 5-29-11

Absolutely top notch work Brian, just comparing with the photo in your avatar, it's a facsimile. Even the little details like the visor, it is precisely like the one on your truck in the picture....

Re: Nick's 379 build

Thanks Nathan, you mention body working skills, I gotta tell you, I had no skills to speak of, I was just inspired by the other builds out there. I have taken a "shoot first, ask questions later"...

Re: dorian turret

Man I wish I knew enough about engineering to know what you guys are talking about. Machine shops fascinate me but to me a dorian turret sounds like something you'd find on a sherman tank!
