been quite at work so stripped and primmed , dryed in oven and now loosley assembled,

got most of it sandblasted last night and will prime tonight, made up some body panels and will fire up the printer to make vents, exhaust ect as time allows.

so last night was a bit of a bust, had to do some work and not too much time for the crusher.

I did manage how ever to get the rollers for the tracks made and welded on, still need to make a few...

main structure is now complete, so it has been loaded onto the low boy to be transported to work to be sand blasted prior to the first coat of primer.

had a day off due to the flu so spent a few sneaky hours in the shed.
plans have changed again.

my original set up needed a small modification because Im cheap, I didn't want to spend the best...

I sorta have the same issue, but am thinking of taking the easy out and uesing some 5mm bearings instead of making lots of rollers as they will sit nicely in my K1 track.

looked at lots of options, not too many choices due to space and height constraints.
I need to make a smaller last roller on the 1st conveyor and have made the 1st roller of the outfeed...

spent a little more time in the shed today.have the bottom conveyor all mounted up and managed to get the second conveyor almost done.

today's activities,

spent a whole lot of time achieving not a lot.

ran out of slitter blades so no body panels made , so started to fit up track motors and a little tidy up of the welds.

need to swap out the tipper motor for a faster one, it lifts the load easily but too slow.

had a little spare time so have had a go at printing up a cage for the excavator cab, not the best but a few mods and it wont look too bad.

have also installed two sabertooth drives into the rock...

typical kat, not enough power and radio settings not right.
bin the pump ( if it is a brushed , same as I got) swap out for a rc4wd setup. Valve bank and pump....

just rang the hobby shop and told them what i needed, it turnned up a couple of days later.
I find its eaiser to talk to a sales person, not everything is on the net.

Hi.
I used two y plugs and a reversing lead.
get a reversing lead with an adjustment pot that way you can control max engine rev noise.
otherwise when a couple of stick movement it will be reving...
