The pins are steel, friction fitted in the lower boom pivot and upper & lower stick pivots with hard plastic bushings in the thinner connections. Not a bit! of wiggle in the arm anywhere, after 35+ hrs of hard digging! And the arm has been stressed alot with side loads/twisting by cutting hard ground with the outer 3rd of the bucket.
