thats why paypal can be your friend if you do NOT use the gift function.
I've bought and sold on facebook rc groups. most deals have been good. but there is always a bad apple to ruin the whole barrel!

I'm not on facebook....seems more grief than its worth sometimes.
For buying/ selling, I always look first on the forums which are invariably used by decent, honest, like-minded people (at least, that's my experience to date!)
